How YouTube can generate Brand Awareness for your Business

Engaging storytelling mixed with highly engaging and interactive visuals is a great way to generate brand awareness for your company. Storytelling is the oldest form of communication humans have within us, it's embedded in our genes. We relate to real people in real life situations, we enjoy the idea of escapism of fantasy and our daily life as well. By doing an entire reversal on your campaign of blasting out your message to the masses and hoping it will stick if you cram your logo everywhere in the video. Case in point, the highly interactive online video team at Revision3 has their logo before every video. A majority of the people I've spoken to, had no idea what Revision3 was! However I mentioned a certain web-series they produce online and their eyes light up saying "OH! Ya, I know them!" Very interesting with the viral campaign for Old-Spice. Old-Spice created a new brand identity using Online Video with Normally Serious characters types and putting them in really absurd situations. For example like the video above. By far my favourite Online Video Campaign is BMW. By hooking up with Guy Richie they completely re-invented a new style of commercialism using short-film as a vehicle to tell their story. The viewer is lost in a character driven commercial. For 6 & half Minutes you're taken on a wild ride with Clive Owen and Modona. So now you're asking yourself, 'thats great and all but I don't have that kind of money on production values like BMW being a small business' Thats the beauty part of storytelling, granted you might not want uncle Frank with his old BETA making a stylized film for you but certainly now with commercial grade products and off the shelf editing software like IMovie, anyone can become a filmmaker. The importance is not in the tools you use but how you use them. And always remember as a small business your greatest strength is in your costumers. Sharing their stories of why, out of all the small businesses, in what ever you might be, should they come to you. It is important with a campaign of this nature to always begin with the 'WHY' of your company. Simon Sinek said it best with this TED Talk, How great leaders inspire action. Definitely an important video to watch before starting anything after going further from this blog.

Law of Attraction Quote

"Find thoughts that feel good, because it is inevitable that you are going to always be moving toward something. So why not be moving toward something that is pleasing? You can't cease to vibrate, and Law of Attraction will not stop responding to the vibration that you are offering. So, expansion is inevitable. You provide it, whether you know you do, or not. The only question is, what is the standard of joy that you are demanding for yourself? From your Nonphysical perspective, it's a high, high standard. "

Hamilton 24 Film Festival 2012

Well, another year has come to pass, Hamilton 24 Film Festival is just about to wrap up for another year. This year I was with the BizClip crew, a group of highly talented people! My review of the nights event was very intense, the group is very passionate at what they do, I love the spirit the frustration, the triumph we shared this weekend. So I'm putting it out there for those that want to take a journey with me on a monthly bases where you would either have a month or 48 hours to complete a short film. What do you think Hamilton?

Happy Mother's Day - Hamilton Waterfront Experience!

Hello all,

So today for mother's day I decided to take a trip down to the BayFront Park in Hamilton, Ontario. It has to be THE happen-ingest place to be during the summer months.

Why you ask? We'll if you're not from Hamilton but thinking about taking a trip, it is definitely a sight to see! Its a destination spot for any sort of outdoor activity, with access to the water to launch boats, you can go rowing, boating (naturally) and sailing.

The path which stretches from Princess Point to the bayfront is great for walking, running, biking, or rollerblading! Everyone is of course super friendly and respect each others mode of transportation even if you're kind of new to rollerblading no ones going to be upset you crossed their paths. :)

Another great area is just a bit further up, where you'll find Willam's coffee pub, that has access to an outdoor patio, you can sit and bask in the sun this summer while enjoying a lunch or just come down for a coffee and or tea!

In that area there is also a outdoor skating rink, (don't have skates, not a problem!) there is a station there which allows you to rent them!! So while you and your family our out for a nice relaxing lunch you can take your kids up there to get some exercise!

Interested in a boating cruse? They have the Hamilton Harbour Queen, enjoy a fun lunch or a dance at night!

In 2006 the Hamilton Waterfront Trust unveiled the first Hamilton Waterfront Trolley and added a second in 2007. The two 37-passenger rubber tired trackless trolleys allow both young and old the opportunity to travel along the Hamilton Waterfront Trail. The 12km trail follows the shoreline of the western portion of the harbour which features many natural and built attractions, including active marine and rail operations, marinas and sailing/rowing clubs, children’s play facilities, historic bridges, and a shoreline and views so natural that you will think you are in Muskoka. Your conductor provides a narrated commentary as you travel in this one of a kind vehicle.

If you want to learn more about a trip out to the Hamilton Waterfront, visit their website and plan a trip today!!

Mother of Nicole Kish Speaks Out

On March 1st 2011, Nyki was wrongfully convicted of 2nd degree murder for little reason more than that she was there and she was stabbed. Dismissing the complete absence of positive identification, the confession of a former co-accused in regards to having pulled the alleged fatal knife, the lack of any DNA on Nyki and the copious amount on others, and the two separately "lost" surveillance videos gone missing in police custody, which have been alleged to have captured the events of that night, the judge successfully undermined this country's core judicial principal of having to achieve for a just conviction, guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Viral Marketing - Unruly’s UK Ads Chart Similar, But Different From Global Ads Chart Source: Unruly’s UK Ads Chart Similar, But Different From Global Ads Chart http://www.reelseo.com/unruly-uk-ads-chart/#ixzz1n1LzNG92

I’m in the United Kingdom this week to speak at SES London, which is being held again at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre. I’ll be speaking on Thursday, 23 February, about “Developing a Video Optimisation and Marketing Campaign.”
No, that’s not a typo. On this side of the pond, the Brits spell “optimisation” with an “s” instead of a “z.” In Old Blighty, soccer is called “football.” And British beer is served warm.

NewsClipTV - Persistence Pays TV Lori Raudnask Interviews Leadership Coach Blair Singer

In 1982, after a painful divorce and financial hardships, Blair realized the money he made and lost, and the relationships that worked and the ones that didn't, all had one thing in common: Blair! Although obvious in hindsight, at the time it was a rude awakening. He set out on a quest to learn, to grow, to develop and ultimately as he puts it, “Win the battle in my own head,” to master his “Little Voice” that was undermining his happiness and success. So began his 25-year journey working with the most powerful mentors, coaches and personal development gurus in the world. With each technique and insight that he learned from them, he made more money, built better businesses, eventually even found the love of his life, and built an incredible family. He began living the life of his dreams.

Blair wrote a book called

"Little Voice" Mastery™

Do you feel like you are being controlled by your life – like you have little power, confidence or ability to create the life you dream of, or desire? Blair Singer knows what that feels like, he’s been there. At one time, his life was in the pits: He felt like all he had to look back on was a failed company and a failed marriage. In that moment, he had hit rock bottom and his “Little Voice” was screaming at him how small and dumb he was. The "Little Voice" Mastery book is the culmination of what Blair learned and practiced in his 25 year journey to ultimately, as he puts it, “Win the battle in my own head,” to master his “Little Voice” that was undermining his happiness and success.
