Social Media Tip of the Day

Measure social media ROI by analyzing how it performs compared to more established channels or advertising methods. It’s not comparing apples-to-apples when it comes to cost, but you can compare the quality of traffic they drive to your website.

  1. Analytics is the best way to measure your onsite and offsite performance. I think that this tool will help you measure the strong and weak points of your website. This is also the same thing that Online video marketing is using, they are suing, analytics to measure the effectiveness of their video and as soon as they have found out the same, they will use it on the next video. SO that they can improve more and give out better results.

  2. I love the concept of the 20 / 80 rule!

It is something that I am adopting in my own practices in 2012.
20 percent the effort and 80 percent result.

Companies do need to understand, in order to build an online presence they do need to start some where.

The most effective way I found, again, is build up one channel at a time. And effectively building a strong relationship with your followers remembering that social media is a 2 way street.

And sometimes it takes a little bit of time and more effort to see the results as little or as big as it might be!
